Since its creation in 2018, more than 600 people have taken courses at the center, which now offers a range of activities combining language learning and certifications. These courses include not only English but also Portuguese, Swahili, and French as a foreign language (FLE). ELO Les Langues aims to meet the professional needs of Mahoran businesses by facilitating their relations with neighboring countries.
The center has also initiated various international professional mobility projects, notably in Kenya and Mauritius. These experiences aim to improve real-life language practice while fostering a better understanding of the international market for participants.
Partnerships and Future Prospects
ELO Les Langues intends to continue its development through strengthened partnerships with local businesses. The organization also plans to introduce new courses tailored to the specific needs of the local market, including food hygiene and safety.
Institutional Context
This evolution comes at a time when Nadine Hafidou, vice president of the Overseas Delegation of the CESE and member of the CCI Mayotte board, highlights the growing importance of regional exchanges for Mayotte's economic development.
