Disrupted sectors and demands
According to Karibinfo, these blockades extend notably to the areas of Capesterre Belle-Eau, Basse-Terre, Baie-Mahault, and Pointe-Noire.
For its part, RCI Guadeloupe indicates that National Route 1 is paralyzed near Moudong Nord by a structure erected by protesters. The same source reports a burning roadblock in the Boisvin sector, located in Les Abymes. The group Nou Las Palé is leading these mobilizations to fight against the high cost of living and to demand an improvement in the drinking water network.
