DELIVRANS denounces the management of the electoral process
DELIVRANS, a Haitian political grouping, criticized the recent changes made to the legal framework for the upcoming elections during a radio broadcast on Friday. Ms. Djina Délatour, a leader of DELIVRANS, stated that the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) was not taking the country's political and economic situation sufficiently into account.

DELIVRANS is demanding a public validation of the new electoral decree before its publication. The group believes that such a step would allow political actors to express their views on the proposed changes, which could affect the schedule for the elections planned for December 13, 2026.
According to DELIVRANS, certain decisions by the CEP do not sufficiently take into account the political context and the difficulties facing the country. The group also pointed out irregularities in voter registration operations and requested a validation meeting with all stakeholders before the publication of the amended decree.
The CEP, which officially acknowledges that discussions are underway to amend the decree currently in force, indicated in its progress report published on September 21 that a total of 1,285 registration and polling centers were then operational across the national territory.
DELIVRANS also highlights security-related difficulties. The group asserts that national roads are blocked by armed gangs, which complicates the holding of elections in certain areas.
