The group includes several goalkeepers: Alexandre Pierre (FC Sochaux), Josué Duverger (Cosmos Koblenz), and Jonah Mednard (Wake Forest University). The defenders selected are Carlens Arcus of Angers SCO, Duke Lacroix of Colorado Springs Switchbacks, Martin Expérience of FCV Dender EH, and Jean-Kévin Duverne of Omonia Nicosia. In midfield are Carl-Fred Sainté (El Paso Locomotive FC), Danley Jean-Jacques (Philadelphia Union), and Jean-Ricner Bellegarde (Wolverhampton Wanderers). The forwards are Louicius Deedson of FC Sochaux, Ruben Providence of Bodrum FK, Josué Casimir of Dynamo Moscow, Fabrice "Fafa" Picault of Atlanta United, Wilson Isidor of Sunderland AFC, Kenny Quétant of Werder Bremen, and Dany Jean of SCU Torreense.
This list comes after several important transfers in Haitian football. For example, Olivier Woodensky Pierre joined Forge FC in Canada while Don Deedson Louicius returned to Europe to play for Sochaux-Montbéliard after his stint with Dallas. Ruben Providence continues his career in Turkey with Bodrum FK.
Haiti will then face Costa Rica on September 27, also at Sabina Park in Kingston. This campaign marks the official debut of Spanish coach David Badia Cequier with the Grenadiers.
