Cap-Haïtien's municipal commission paid tribute to Parisien Fils-Aimé, singer of the Orchestre Tropicana d'Haïti, for his 60-year music career, the City of Cap-Haïtien announced on Saturday, November 7, 2026.
"60 years of music, passion and loyalty"
The city hall hails "the exceptional career of an artist who, for six decades, has helped spread Haitian music and promote our cultural heritage." The tribute, it says, reflects the city's gratitude to those who contribute to the richness of its cultural identity.
Cap-Haïtien's city hall had already honored the orchestra in 2023 for its 60 years.
