Antigua and Barbuda proposes limits to any potential transfer with the United States
Caribbean Radio Television reports that the government of Antigua and Barbuda has proposed limiting a potential transfer mechanism to residents of certain Caribbean countries, Brazil, and Colombia. Prime Minister Gaston Browne states that a counter-proposal contains nationality restrictions that have not yet been accepted by Washington.

The project excludes citizens of Haiti as well as those with criminal records, and imposes a limit of seven transfers over three months. Browne awaits the American response regarding these new conditions.
