Alidu Seidu joins OGC Nice

Alidu Seidu, a 26-year-old Ghanaian defender, has been loaned by Stade Rennais to OGC Nice without an option to buy. This arrival comes after Maxime Barbaud from the Official Ligue 1 Twitter account revealed that he was sent to a loft in the heart of summer while waiting for an opportunity to leave.
Seidu is versatile and can play on the right or as a central defender. His loan comes at a time when Moise Bombito and Antoine Mendy are out long-term, placing him as a medical backup in a context where Nice is fighting against relegation in Ligue 1.
He remains under contract with Rennes until 2029 but now has the opportunity to play regularly at Nice.
