Sunday, October 25, 2026, the Haitian under-15 team played its second match of the day against Israel as part of the FIFA U-15 World Cup. This group stage encounter took place at the Hovsan sports complex in Baku, Azerbaijan, and ended in a victory for Haiti.

The start. The match got off to a flying start with an early goal scored by John Laroque as early as the third minute of play. Israel then managed to equalize thanks to a penalty converted by Alon Abramovitch in the twenty-seventh minute. The two sides thus neutralized each other during a very lively first half.

The goals. Haiti quickly regained the lead on the scoreboard thanks to an own goal by Rafael Revivo, coming three minutes after the equalizer. The opponents, however, caught up shortly after, following a ball inadvertently pushed into the back of his own net by Christopher Charles. The flow of the match thus remained extremely tight.

The outcome. Aridou Benoît, a player from the Jacmel Football Academy, scored a spectacular goal in the thirty-fourth minute to give a crucial advantage to his selection. The match finally concluded with a final goal by Hanelson Antoine in the dying moments of regulation time, permanently sealing the Haitian success on the score of four goals to two.

The standings. Thanks to this performance, the Haitian selection takes second place in Group AF at the end of the encounter. The team thus positions itself just behind Australia, which remains undefeated in this competition. Israel, for its part, finishes in the fifth and final position of this same group.

The rules. This international competition offers an innovative format where each match lasts a total of forty minutes, divided into two twenty-minute halves. The pitch used represents half the size of a regulation pitch, although the goals keep their normal dimensions. The teams thus play with eight players per side with squads strictly limited to fourteen members.
