Waldemar Kita ends negotiations with Phenix Capital

According to Kita, the takeover project presented by Phenix Capital did not provide sufficient financial guarantees and was "clearly not serious." The club stated that it had granted several extensions to Phenix Capital to provide the necessary documents but these were never supplied.

"My priority has always been to ensure the stability and development of FC Nantes and to safeguard its interests and those of its employees," Kita said in a statement.

Phenix Capital, however, has not abandoned its project despite this decision. The investment fund is still seeking to finalize the acquisition of the club, according to RMC Sport.

FC Nantes therefore remains under the control of Waldemar Kita, with no new date or potential candidate announced for a future sale.
