Today, Aurier says: "Dear coach, if you knew how much I regret. Ten years have passed, and I don't stop thinking about you. I didn't mean a word of it... Let's talk about it over a coffee. I invite you, I insist. Please coach, forgive me." However, it is unlikely that these apologies will be enough to convince Laurent Blanc.

Context of the incident

Ten years ago, Serge Aurier had drawn attention with insulting remarks made during a live broadcast on Periscope. These remarks targeted several teammates of PSG as well as his coach, Laurent Blanc. This incident led to an immediate suspension by the Paris club.

Reactions and consequences

The apologies presented by Serge Aurier have been described as "scripted" by the media, suggesting that they are not entirely sincere. It is therefore unlikely that Laurent Blanc will accept these apologies.
