Senegal will face Guinea and Gambia will challenge Sierra Leone in the semifinals of the UFOA-A U17 tournament. The match between Senegal and Guinea will take place on Thursday at 4 PM, while the one between Gambia and Sierra Leone will start at 7 PM.

Cheikh Oumar Sy scored four goals over the first two rounds for Senegal. Souleymane Commissaire Faye is also among Senegal's goal scorers, contributing to the team's victories. Despite a convincing performance in the first half against Gambia (0-0), which led to a score after halftime, Senegal maintained its top position in Group A.
Guinea qualified for the semifinals thanks to a victory over Mali in their last match. After losing to Liberia (1-2) and winning against Mali (2-1), the Guinean team secured their qualification with this crucial win.
Gambia, second in Group A with seven points after two victories over Sierra Leone (4-1) and Mauritania (3-1), will also face Sierra Leone. The Baby Scorpions finished without a loss before this semifinal.
The teams are not only competing for a spot in the final but also for a ticket to the next U17 Africa Cup of Nations 2027. The final is scheduled for Sunday, September 20.
