Kylian Mbappé and Yan Diomandé were the main architects of the Madrid victory, each scoring two goals. The goals came from a beautiful combination between Mbappé, Arda Güler, and Federico Valverde, concluded by Bernardo Silva (43'). Real Madrid doubled their lead shortly after halftime on a cross from Jude Bellingham that Mbappé scored victoriously (52'), then Diomandé added a powerful volley under the bar to close out the scoring (87').
