Puerto Rico: Prosecutor files charges against driver for sexual assault
The prosecutor brought three criminal charges on Friday against a transport driver involved in a sexual assault case that occurred on September 29. According to the investigations, the incident took place while the 19-year-old victim was using his services in Santurce.

Prosecutor Lourdes L. Gómez Torres announced these charges in a statement. The court of first instance ordered a $30,000 bond and imposed electronic monitoring on the defendant until the preliminary hearing scheduled for October 15.
The investigation, led by Yenetamia Díaz Zayas from the sexual crimes division of the criminal investigation corps (CIC) in San Juan, revealed that the driver allegedly committed sexual acts against the victim using physical force.
