Papin accuses Zarrak of moral harassment at Marseille Olympique

Jean-Pierre Papin, winner of the Ballon d'Or in 1991, accused Ali Zarrak, who is responsible for scouting in Île-de-France for Olympique de Marseille (OM), of moral harassment during an interview with L'Équipe. This accusation comes after Papin left his position as coach of OM's reserve team in May 2025.

Zarrak, for his part, responded on X with a cryptic message: "when lies take the elevator, truth takes the stairs, it takes longer but always arrives in the end."

Context of the Accusations

Papin returned to the club in 2024 as an ambassador and then as coach of the reserve team. He stated that he endured moral harassment for a period of one and a half years, which led to his abrupt departure.

Zarrak's Reaction

Ali Zarrak did not directly respond to the accusations in the media but posted on X a message full of implications without confirming or denying Papin's allegations.
