Abandonment of proceedings by deputies
Proceedings in the Lower House were suspended on Tuesday, October 13, due to the walkout of a majority of deputies in solidarity with their colleague Millys Martínez, following a recent incident in the Elías Piña province.
Reaction from Pacheco
According to him, disputes or conflictual situations should never lead to the halting of legislative work.
Call for a new session
Faced with this unprecedented suspension of the quorum during the current four-year term, Pacheco announced the calling of a new session for Wednesday, October 14, at 10 a.m. in order to resume work and address the pending agenda.
