Traditional Festivities and Performances
According to Mayotte Hebdo, this free day will kick off the cultural season, which will run until December. The festivities will begin at 3:45 PM with traditional m'biwi chants by the Chiromani association, followed by games organized by Nimbe Animation. In the late afternoon, Yasmina Aouny will present her show "Crab Geneses," addressing the fight against breast cancer. A concert by Chaldi will close the evening starting at 6:45 PM.
Debates and Projections on Architecture
According to L'Info Kwézi, the meeting will start at 1 PM and focus on urban planning. The audience will be able to watch "Gagarine," a film by Fanny Liatard and Jérémy Trouilh about Youri, a 16-year-old boy defending his neighborhood against demolition. Spectators can then debate with experts and elected officials around the theme "Building the Future: Demolish or Rehabilitate?" Finally, an exhibition on mosques and the ornaments of Mahoran houses will remain on display under the portico until October 25.
