FC M’tsapéré will face Saint-Pauloise in Reunion Island for the Coupe de France
The French Football Federation has decided to relocate the Women's Coupe de France match between FC M'tsapéré and Saint-Pauloise. The match will take place in La Réunion on Saturday, October 31, according to Le Journal de Mayotte, even though it was initially scheduled to be held in the Mahoran territory.

Security concerns
Officials from the Réunion-based club Saint-Pauloise have expressed concerns regarding the safety of their delegation. Frédéric Catronia, one of the team's coaches, explained, according to Le Journal de Mayotte, that their refusal to play in Mayotte was not absolute. He stated: "For us, the safety of our players and our staff comes first." The Réunion team claims they have received no assurances on this front.
The Sada option abandoned
The choice of the Sada stadium was ruled out following violent clashes that occurred on Saturday, September 26, during another match, which left about fifteen people injured. Christophe Drouvroy, director of national competitions for the FFF, indicated that the Mahoran league wanted to rely on local leaders to organize the match, but that these incidents rendered that plan obsolete.
A lack of certified infrastructure
Beyond security issues, Mayotte suffers from a lack of compliant sports facilities. The FFF pointed out that the territory's stadiums are currently undergoing renovations or do not possess the administrative authorizations required to host such an official competition. FC M'tsapéré, whose travel will be funded by the federation, is expected to participate in the match to avoid potential sanctions, reports journalist Alexis Duclos.
