Brazil won a friendly match against India at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan Stadium in Kolkata, winning 4-0. Estêvão opened the scoring for the visitors in the 28th minute before adding an assist just before halftime. Pedro doubled the lead by outplaying the Indian goalkeeper (2-0). After halftime, Carlo Ancelotti made five substitutions but Brazil maintained their advantage, with Samuel Lino scoring a brace to close the match at 4-0.
The Italian coach showed great rotation in the second half without affecting his team's offensive efficiency. At the 58th minute, Samuel Lino scored the third goal following a poor Indian clearance. Brazil thus concluded their camp with two wins and a draw against Australia.
India had some opportunities but failed to beat Pedro Morisco, the Brazilian goalkeeper who came on in the second half. The Indian team will face Uruguay next Tuesday while the Seleção will play against Japan and Singapore on November 14th.
