Klopp also recalled his previous displeasure at an earlier presentation, where he had already criticized some journalists. He emphasized that premature disclosure of information is not acceptable and that he might consider resigning if the criticism becomes too severe.

The coach wants to focus on football rather than political issues, stating his desire to restore pride to the Mannschaft. He highlighted the importance of creating a positive atmosphere and uniting the community around national sentiment.

Criticism of the Media

Klopp did not hesitate to denounce media practices that, in his view, harm the proper functioning of football. He particularly noted that prioritizing financial gain over information is unacceptable and that there needs to be respect for certain journalistic ethics.

The German coach also wants to embody a renewal for his country, by emphasizing national pride and seeking to create a sense of belonging around football. He stated: "We need to rediscover the joy that all this brings" in order to restore confidence among supporters.
