Jean-Ryl Anténor calls for peace and responsibility

Anténor cites biblical verses such as Matthew 26:52 ("Put your sword back in its place, for all who draw the sword will die by the sword.") to encourage everyone to recognize their responsibilities and contribute to the return of peace, stability, and sustainable development.

He recalls that in the 1970s, Haiti was more stable with a thriving economy. Today, however, the country is torn apart by increasing violence that undermines the hope of its citizens and threatens its sovereignty.

Anténor specifically calls on armed groups led by Jimmy Cherizier (Barbecue) and other leaders like Izo, Vitel’homme Innocent, Lanmò San Jou, Chien Mechan, Bout Janjan to lay down their weapons. He also asks politicians such as Michel Martelly, Youri Latortue, Joseph Lambert, Moïse Jean-Charles, and André Michel to break with corruption for the good of the country.

Finally, he urges economic elites like Gilbert Bigio to invest in Haiti's future rather than profiting from it unfairly. He emphasizes that each actor must be aware of the consequences of their actions and work towards a better future.
