The arrest took place during a police operation carried out between 3:30 and 5:40 in the morning in the community of Aleppo. Two houses on the same property were simultaneously searched, and Anderson surrendered without incident.
Commander Anthony Wallace of the St Mary Police Division stated that the individual was then detained and transported to Kingston by the Jamaican Fugitive Apprehension Team (JFAT) for further procedures.
The St Mary police continue their efforts to prevent the community from becoming a refuge for criminals. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the police at 876-994-2224 or 311.
