At just 19 years old, Lamine Yamal has impressed with his recent performances. He has scored eight goals and provided six assists for Barcelona in eight matches this season. With the Spanish national team, he has scored three times in the last three games.

According to El Nuevo Diario, Luis de la Fuente, coach of Spain, says that Yamal "always wants to play" and possesses a characteristic desire typical of any great player. The Spanish coach also noted that the young winger is in sync with the team and his current level allows him to be a natural competitor.
