Organized by the Inter-American Development Bank and the International Federation of Consulting Engineers, this forum brought together public and private sector officials to discuss the role of both parties in the development of transport infrastructure.
The first day of the forum took place on September 29. It was marked by a closed-door ministerial session where government representatives exchanged views on preparing infrastructure projects and improving investor confidence.
The MTPTC wishes to align its public priorities with the private sector by presenting investment opportunities in Haitian transport. According to Vant Bèf Info, this approach aims to create a more favorable framework for investments.
For now, the MTPTC has not specified which projects will be presented during the forum, nor their costs or implementation schedules.
The subsequent discussions are expected to provide more information on the project opportunities proposed by Haiti and other participating countries.

The MTPTC views its participation as an opportunity to strengthen dialogue with investors and partners in the infrastructure sector.
