The Collective notes that the current government led by Alix Didier Fils-Aimé is approaching two years in power since its installation in November 2024. It believes that such a period should have allowed for the creation of necessary conditions to organize the elections.
The Collective also demands that the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) receive essential human, material, and financial resources for its functioning. It considers it necessary to guarantee the independence of the CEP from executive authorities.
Herno Thelemaque, a political and strategic leader within the Collective Kenbe Kapòw, emphasized the need for a national dialogue to get the country out of its uncertainty. He pleads for a consensus that would help restore democratic order.
The Collective further calls for a significant reduction in the number of ministries to limit non-priority public spending and avoid administrative burdens deemed unnecessary. This measure also aims to preserve the state's budgetary resources.
