Adrien Truffert is scoring points with Les Bleus

Truffert, the Bournemouth left-back, started both matches against Turkey and Italy during the gathering. His activity on the pitch allowed him to impress Zidane with his attacking runs and defensive reliability.

Benoît Trémoulinas, a pundit for Foot Mercato, points out that "Truffert is going to be important for Les Bleus in the future thanks to his reliability." His ability to constantly provide solutions on the pitch convinced Zidane to choose him over another candidate such as Andy Diouf.
